I have been elected Vice Chair of the Stafford County School Board twice, showcasing my strong bipartisan support and my ability to build coalitions and foster meaningful relationships. This role reflects the confidence placed in me not only by my constituents and the community but also by my fellow School Board members. I have worked diligently to honor that confidence throughout my tenure, and I am committed to bringing that same level of dedication and integrity to my role as a Supervisor. I believe effective leadership transcends party lines—it’s rooted in trust, accountability, humility, and the willingness to admit when you're wrong, all while delivering consistent results for our community. No drama. No games.
As a dedicated advocate for students and families, I helped to establish Stafford In Action, a community-driven initiative that raised $7,000 to combat hunger and pay down student meal debt in our public schools. No child should go hungry at school, and I’m committed to ensuring every student has access to the nutrition they need to learn and thrive.
Under my leadership, Stafford County became the first district in Virginia to implement a cell phone-free learning environment. This bold step has reduced distractions, improved student engagement, and fostered a more focused classroom.
For the first time in over a decade, Stafford County is building three new schools to address overcrowding and support our rapidly growing population. Elementary School 18 and High School 6 will open near Route 17, while Elementary School 19 will be located at the Brooke Point Campus—each set to welcome students in August 2026. These schools represent a major investment in our children’s future, providing the space, resources, and modern learning environments they deserve.
I championed the installation of the state's largest school rooftop solar array—a groundbreaking initiative that advances environmental conservation while creating hands-on learning opportunities for students. This investment in sustainability and innovation not only reduces our carbon footprint but also integrates real-time solar data into energy and science curricula, equipping students with invaluable knowledge about renewable energy and environmental stewardship. By prioritizing forward-thinking solutions, we’re preparing the next generation for the future of green energy.
I played a key role in developing the CHAMP, EPIC, and LEAPS Specialty Centers, which offer specialized pathways in healthcare, engineering, and leadership. These programs provide students with real-world skills, industry connections, and hands-on experiences, ensuring they are well-prepared for both college and career success in high-demand fields.
